Mission Statement

King’s Mission Statement:
The Mission for King CLC is to promote academic excellence that develops and fosters inquiring, compassionate, lifelong learners in our diverse world.
Our Mission Statement is aligned with the IB Mission Statement.

Attitudes

At King, we work to development positive attitudes towards people, the environment, and learning. These are the day to day attitudes we use: appreciation, commitment, confidence, cooperation, creativity, curiosity, empathy, enthusiasm, independence, integrity, respect, and tolerance. When reinforced at home, these attitudes become second nature for children.

They appreciate the wonder and beauty of the world and its people

Being committed to their learning, persevering and showing self-discipline and responsibility

Feeling confident in their ability as learners, having the courage to take risks, apply what they have learned and making appropriate decisions and choices

Language

To increase their understanding in other cultures, all King students receive language instruction in English and Spanish.
