Last week, King first grade students looked at life from a different perspective. As part of their IB Unit, students researched how various items have changed over time. They discussed how these changes have impacted their current lives, and made posters to show these changes. As a culminating activity, students dressed up as someone who had been alive long enough to see the changes in these items over time. Students then gave their classmates a speech about their items from the perspective of the character that they dressed as. It is very interesting to see how things have changed over time.
